"We're going to liberate the hell out of 20,000 chickens"

Welcome to The Chicken Appreciation Society.

Welcome to the mind of former meat processor, Comrade Egg.

She wants to change the world.
And she needs your help.

Comrade Egg and The Chicken of Tomorrow is a dark, funny and bold show about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the meat processing industry.

Using clowning, fierce movement and your help, it celebrates the power of collective action and the brilliance of chickens, but not necessarily in that order.

The show has been developed with support from Pleasance Futures, Proteus Performance Lab, The Theatre Chipping Norton and Theatre Deli. It received a work-in-progress showing at London Clown Festival 2018 and early previews at VAULT Festival 2019.

Upcoming Performances

BSL integrated version

In 2019 Mother Bunch collaborated with Becky Barry to create a British Sign Language integrated version of the show. This version will be part of our Edinburgh run, showing on the 10th and 14th August.
